About Friends of Peekskill Hollow Creek (FOPHC)

Friends of Peekskill Hollow Creek (FOPHC) is a rapidly growing group of residents that care about the environment and is deeply concerned about developments that threaten the air, the water, and the beautiful, quiet rural character of the Putnam Valley Community, Peekskill Hollow Creek, “Historic” Peekskill Hollow Road and the surrounding areas.

Friends of Peekskill Hollow Creek stand united to protect the Peekskill Hollow Creek against any potential pollution. FOPHC does not want the residential area to be changed from its beautiful rural character into a metropolitan/industrial complex overrun with large diesel vehicles, diesel air pollution, noise pollution, 24/7 light pollution and the potential for an increase in dangerous traffic.
